Personal Data

How we handle your data

The club collects an application, which means it collects personal data. Below, briefly and without legal language: what the application asks for, why it is needed, how long it is kept and how to have it deleted. The formal wording for the fund’s chosen jurisdiction is being prepared by a specialist lawyer.

01

What we collect.

Your name, work email, a profile link, your industry and market, the time you have available and your own words on where your advice helps most. The application does not ask for your date, time or city of birth: those are needed later, only when a specific pair is being matched, and are requested separately.

02

Why we need it.

To place your industry profile and to reach you when the fund has a suitable project. Nothing else: we run no mailing lists, and we neither sell your data nor pass it to third parties for their own purposes.

03

Who sees it.

The fund’s manager and the people who process applications. Applications sit in a closed StarMeet register and are never published. The site itself stores nothing: it passes applications to the StarMeet API, and holds no keys and no database access.

04

How long we keep it.

For as long as you are on the club’s preliminary list. If you ask us to delete your record, we delete it in full and confirm that we have.

05

How to correct or delete it.

Write to the fund from the same address you gave in the application. We will correct or delete the record and reply by email. There is deliberately no self-service form: the list holds dozens of people, not thousands, and a real reply is more honest here than a button.

06

The site runs no analytics and no ad pixels.

The site sets no analytics counters and no advertising pixels, and therefore shows no consent banner: consent is asked for tracking, and there is none here. If counters ever appear, a consent banner appears with them — that is enforced by the build, not by a promise.
